Late in the second round now, but it'll be an absolute upset if anyone other than Zaph or Vancouver wins this year's championship, with the players remaining. Been a wild playoffs so far I disagree. I think you have a very good shot if San Jose beats Nashville tomorrow night. You would need a San Jose - Pittsburgh final. Either way congrats on winning the East.

Been a wild playoffs so far do not underestimate just how quickly Bishop can disappear from a series. Last year I thought I had it in the bag and Tampa Bay failed to show up for the finals.

I'm flattered at the idea that I have much of a chance, but I'm a Sharks fan and it's already a miracle that we haven't lost at home yet in this series, and only once so far in the playoffs. I didn't last this long as a hockey fan without being cautiously pessimistic But I suppose if the Sharks advance, and could hypothetically make it past the Blues, then I could stand a chance at winning. That's a lot of ifs, though. I was banking on one of Washington, Dallas, or San Jose making a deep run, and two of those three are gone, with SJ left the fence with two rounds left to go. Those aren't good odds

Vancouver is looking good.. should I make it past Calgary it is going to take a miracle to get past you, for sure. I was feeling much the same way for St. Louis in both rounds, lock.

So with round 2 over, we have:
Florida Panthers: -Beau Bennett (injured) -Logan Couture -Joonas Donskoi -Chris Kunitz -Brian Dumoulin
New York Rangers: -Patric Hornqvist
St. Louis Blues: -Barclay Goodrow (Generally scratched) -Ty Rattie (Generally scratched) -Jaden Schwartz -Ian Cole -Petteri Lindbohm (Generally scratched) -Nikita Nesterov (Generally scratched) -Ben Bishop
Vancouver Canucks: -Joe Pavelski -Vladimir Tarasenko -Joel Ward -Olli Maatta
Yep, looks like Vancouver's probably the frontrunner. He's going to have one of Pavs/Ward or Tarasenko through to the finals, and potentially Maatta. I could have an empty roster if PIT and SJ lose this upcoming round. St. Louis could too if STL and TB flame out. NYR would need a miracle to advance with just a single player. Vancouver's got at least one high production player moving into the finals, so long as he can beat Zaphod.

this could be the best final we have had in awhile, competitive from both sides, looking forward to it.

Really depends on if Pittsburgh can shut down the Joe/Pavs/Hertl line. If they can, I have a chance, because Pittsburgh lacks the D depth to completely shut down Couture's line on top of that. But even then, Joel Ward'll be hanging on the 3rd line for quality depth scoring, too. And Maatta has been productive, while Dumo's only really put up points when others were hurt. And Kunitz, if he keeps producing, could be a difference-maker for me.
Uphill battle, but I suppose I have a shot. Should be interesting. I thought I'd be dead in the water in the first round without a goalie, so this is all a bonus for me
Best of luck to Vancouver

Did the series just end? Surprisingly low point totals for a 9 month series
